Welcome to Fine Art of Dawnamarie Weaver-Pearce

With eyes wide open, be it beauty or truth; knowing they are not always the same, both can be found in my work.  With awe and passion I interpret the human figure, creatures, memories, and life’s lessons in textured, sculptural work that is full of depth and nuance.

As an artist, I strive to be a musician of color, a dancer of technique and poet who writes tactile prose on blank canvas with palette and brush. It is both an honor and a responsibility to communicate in this way. Mine is the communication of but one voice. I want that message to be heard, seen, felt…experienced.

When you stand in front of one of my paintings or live with one, and find yourself with cause to think again when you once believed yourself to understand it already, that is a gift to me. If you treasure it more with each passing day, year, or glance; then that is my gift to you.

Following her college education with AS degrees in Business and
Administration of Justice, and an AA in Performing Arts,
Dawnamarie pursued her love of the arts and began one of the
most difficult of disciplines, Life Drawing. The feel of the media in
her hand and the smell of art materials felt like a homecoming –
“I just knew it had me” she confessed.

Wanting to learn to paint in oil, she pushed herself further and
began studying under the highly respected German Master Artist,
Josef Peter Romer.  Upon graduation from the Romer School of Art,
she continued her education by learning the medium of airbrush.
“The airbrush experience was self-taught. I bought my first poor
quality airbrush in 1996. I threw it against the wall and it stuck in
the sheet rock”, admits the artist.   Today, Dawnamarie's airbrush
works are highly sought after.

Residing in California's Central Coast
Dawnamarie's work can be
seen across
the United States' highways and beaches, from garage
bands
to professional musician's equipment and private collections.

She is a single  mother of two grown children and stays light--
hearted and
grounded through life's bumpy and winding roads.
